Did not disappoint. What a lovely place to stay, with everything as described, and more. So many things available for us to use as all those little extras. The views are fantastic and my early cuppa every morning was spent in the garden on the bench, listening to the sea and the birds. The place is very warm and very clean. It was perfect for me as no pets were allowed and suffering from allergies I did not have to be worried by that. Our favourite place was The Loft for coffee etc just around the corner from the house. We loved everything about our accommodation and looking forward to going there again. We would very much recommend it. Jane H. July 2024

Excellent stay. We had the most enjoyable week staying in this wonderful house. Excellent sea views from almost every window. Superbly furnished and equipped we wanted for nothing. It was more than a ‘home from home’. We enjoyed the welcome pack of scones, jam and cream very much. The position of the house within Coverack is great and very convenient with only a short walk to the harbour, shop, fish & chips and local pub. The off road car parking for two cars across from the house was very convenient. We highly recommend this as a place to stay - you won’t be disappointed. David M.

Well appointed house with amazing views. The house is a perfect retreat to get away from it all but so close to amenities, small shops and places to eat. The house is comfortable with everything you need. It would have been useful to have a shed to put our dirty walking boots in. We hope to return soon. Kate S.

Wonderful house with sea views in Coverack. We really enjoyed our autumn break! The house is on a very quiet road, steps away from the South West Coast Path. Sea views are extensive in various directions, the Morse Stove works really well, although it is not necessary to use it, as the central heating is very good. Kitchen is well kitted out, I imagine even with a full house, you would be very comfortable. Corinna P.

Missing those views already! We had a delightful stay at Porthvean - what a lovely house and beautiful part of the country! Those views are just stunning! Coverack is a delightful little place. Local establishments (restaurant, cafe, shop etc.) are taking social distancing very seriously, it was all very well-managed, which was very comforting to see. The house is literally right on the southwest coast path, so it was perfect for walking along the coast. Porthbeer Cove was a particular favourite for a relatively short, stunning walk. Porthvean is also very well placed for a number of must-do’s on the Lizard peninsula. The kitchen was very well equipped - bonus points for having a decent set of knives! We are very much looking forward to visiting again next year ! Jade F.

Great Break. Two of our party had to work some of the time but they loved being able to look out at the great view from the house; a view of sun, sea, rocks and container ships. The rest of us went to the beach, visited Falmouth and St Ives and walked some of the many walks accessible from the house. Our favourite places were Kynance Cove, St Just and Godrevy. The house was perfect for all of us, 6 adults, a 4 year old and an under 2 year old. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and there was plenty of room. There are stair gates, a cot and High Chair. There's even a wine fridge which we stuffed. You can get local fish and chips (and a vegan option) and have a drink outside the pub. Jeannine Y.
